Did eyes, heavy hearts rise
heaven-high

as warring body torn
immerged

reborn
to live life selfless;

as really free

liberated to eternity

whether heavenly or earthly
it should prove to be?

Or would you rather be left alone
to agonize through horrific storms

dark, angry

too cold?

Everyone's tragedy
food for soul?

Black or blue or red meat
pummeled

you watch or initiate
bold.

Wicked rivalry do you prefer

to consort, distort, report propaganda
to divide

hiding cruelty,
slickness

snide inside

crawling
slithering

ungodliness
to abide?

A sparkling mirror
miraculously leaned

in one's midst
reflects an image

either tainted or clean.

Reveals motives
proper and pure
or satanically mean.

Yes, makes a distinction
in between: the righteous or the wicked.

"Draw close to God,
and he will draw close to you.

Cleanse your hands,
you sinners,

and purify your hearts,
you indecisive ones."

Is this admonition gratifying?

How real is he
do you feel

his words

a sweet healing to weary bones?

Or rather we be left alone to our vices?

We must develop an appetite
for healthy phrases

plus
nature's arts

our loving Creator
does magnificently

impart.

From this day forward

A relationship with God.

asked: How can this be?
Both saintliness and terrorism fed

daily mankind feeds

upon a book read
promoting divine qualities
producing a glorious hope

or causing our earth
in violence to profusely bleed
through extreme cruelty

spearheaded
by diverse cultures
or crippling creeds?

Darwin himself grieved
over his daughter deceased

along with his
“visceral distaste”
for the doctrine of hellfire
by pagandom conceived

through which Christendom
also, members further deceived

although, Biblically stated:

"The soul who sins
is the one who will die." Ezekiel 18:4.

"That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned". Romans 5:12.

"For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin." Romans 6:7. "For the wages sin pays is death,

but the gift God gives is everlasting life
by Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23.

So just where does it say our bad ones will fry?

"For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing at all," Eccl. 9:5
does certify.

And Revelation 21:8 does specify:

"But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and the sexually immoral and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars,

their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire* and sulfur. This means the second death.” Never again to arise as Jeremiah 51:57 also clarifies:

"I will make her princes and her wise men drunk,
Her governors and her deputy rulers and her warriors,

And they will sleep a lasting sleep,
From which they will not wake up,”

declares the King,
whose name is Jehovah of armies."
Who himself is called a "God of Love"

whose heart and mind cannot abide
demonic practices inspired by devotion to idols

promoted above
his righteous desires:

"They have built the high places of Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinʹnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that I had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart.’" Jeremiah 7:31.

Shouldn't we upon His Words build faith and upon rely?
Upon Job's word be further edified?

"So listen to me, you men of understanding:
It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly,

For the Almighty to do wrong!

For he will reward a man according to what he does
And bring upon him the consequences of his ways.

For a certainty, God does not act wickedly;

The Almighty does not pervert justice." Job 34:10-12.

"When the wicked sprout like weeds
And all the wrongdoers flourish,
It is that they may be annihilated forever." Psalm 92:7.

So are we better off without the Creator of all humanity?

“Faith adds an insistent moral demand, a responsibility to care for the world that God has created.” Author Keith Ward did concede.

Many are disillusioned by mankind's horrible deeds,
while evolutionists promote survival of the fittest as fact, though unproven this theory over the years

although, generosity and love, which endears,
taught by Christ setting a perfect model to imitate
for all obedient servants of God's Kingdom to adhere

which will eliminate all causes for future fear

is viewed skeptically
by worldly-wise intelligent minds

honest-hearted ones will thankfully hear
these words prophesied also of our day
and of a destruction of wickedness near:

“‘For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.

And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.’

“‘You will seek me and find me,
for you will search for me with all your heart.

And I will let you find me,’ declares Jehovah."

Let all lovers of truth and justice
search for the 'God of Peace' and His Son

while the door of opportunity is still open.

Into His Word
take this time
to gratefully
and diligently
peer.

"For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12.

WHAT IS “THE LAKE OF FIRE”?

Revelation 20:10 says that the Devil will be cast into “the lake of fire” and “tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (King James Version) If the Devil were to be tortured for all eternity, God would have to preserve him alive, but the Bible says that Jesus will “destroy him.” (Hebrews 2:14, KJ) The symbolic fiery lake represents “the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) This is not the death first mentioned in the Bible—death because of Adam’s sin—death from which one may be released by a resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:21, 22) Because the Bible does not say that “the lake of fire” would release those in it, “the second death” must mean another kind of death, an irreversible one.

In what sense are those in “the lake of fire” tormented eternally? At times, “to torment” can mean “to restrain” someone. Once when Jesus confronted the demons, they cried out: “Art thou come hither to torment us [restrain us in the abyss] before the time?” (Matthew 8:29; Luke 8:30, 31; KJ) So all of those in “the lake” will suffer the “torment” of everlasting restraint, or “the second death.”

'A River of Waters of Life'

Exists a turbulent dark thunderous sea
churning up seaweed, plus mire.
Wicked ones lacking calmness. No rest. Any.
Yet, true peace, meek ones desire.

Yes.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth;
for the former... passed away".
Wicked to "shrivel like green new grass." Firth-less.
Hope in Jah. Forever. Stay.

For,

"There is no peace," says my God, "for the wicked.""
Must pray: "Lead me in the way
of eternity." Unlike lamb in thicket.
Drink from pure waters today.

For "a loud voice from the throne" (of God) did say:
"He will wipe out every tear".
"Death will be no more". Neither "Mourning". "Pain". Decay.
God's tent protecting from fear.

"A river of water of life," crystal clear
flowing from God's and Lamb's throne
"down the middle of its main street." "Come!" Meek. Near.
"On both sides of" river known:

"Trees of life producing 12 crops of fruit," fresh
"for the healing of" nations.
Jah’s provision through Christ sinful mankind blessed.
"Leaves of the trees" not rationed.

"And the spirit and the bride keep on saying,"
"Let anyone thirsting come;
let anyone who wishes" not delaying
"take life’s water free."... Welcome!

"Lame will leap like the deer," "waters will burst forth
in the wilderness, streams. Sprays.
"Yes, a way called the Way of Holiness." True north.

"It is reserved for the one walking on the way;
With "no one foolish" to stray
on it. Forever, "Grief and sighing will flee away."

Yes, "he showed me a river of water of life,
clear as crystal, flowing out
from the throne of God and of the Lamb" without strife.

"Because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne,
will shepherd them and will guide them
to springs of waters of life." Glorious days known.

Promised: "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.”
"Let anyone who wishes take life’s water free."
"Let no man deprive you of the eternalprize"

That Glorious Day!

As done in long ago days of ancient/old
praise because of salvation will again be sung
unitedly joyful,

internationally bold. Sounds of exultation. Sounds of rejoicing.

Voices of ones saying: “Give thanks to Jehovah of armies, for Jehovah is good;

his loyal love endures forever!”’ For "A nation that is keeping faithful conduct." It definitely could!

Safeguarded--"those who fully lean on you;"

granted "them continuous peace,
because it is in you that they trust." Thankfully,
anxious stress brought to tranquil ease.

"Trust in Jehovah forever,
For Jah Jehovah is the eternal Rock."

Because he is upright,
paths of the righteous he will smooth.
In finality's grateful end
wickedness' rampage will be gloriously removed.

Although, for now as David extolled:

"In the night I long for you with my whole being,
Yes, my spirit keeps looking for you;

For when there are judgments from you for the earth,
The inhabitants of the land learn about righteousness."

"For as the earth brings forth its sprouts
and as the garden makes what is sown in it sprout,
so will the Sovereign Lord Jehovah
cause righteousness and praise to sprout

before all the nations."

Since, "even if the wicked is shown favor,
he will not learn righteousness. Even in the land of uprightness
he will act wickedly,

And he will not see the majesty of Jehovah.

O Jehovah, your hand is raised, but they do not see it."

But, "they will see your zeal for your people
and be put to shame.

Yes, the fire for your adversaries will consume them."

"O Jehovah, you will grant us peace,"

"O Jehovah our God,
other masters besides you have ruled over us,
But we make mention of your name alone."

We pray before that day to come when you will say:

"Go, my people, enter your inner rooms,
And shut your doors behind you.

Hide yourself for a brief moment
Until the wrath has passed by."

"For look! Jehovah is coming from his place
To call the inhabitants of the land to account for their error,
And the land will expose her bloodshed
And will no longer cover over her slain.”

"The righteous one will rejoice because he has seen the vengeance;

His feet will be drenched with the blood of the wicked.

Then men will say:
“Surely there is a reward for the righteous.

There is indeed a God who judges in the earth.”"

Based upon Isaiah chapter 26, also:
Those days will be days of a tribulation such as has not occurred from the beginning of the creation that God created until that time.—Mark 13:19.
We are living in what the Bible calls “the last days,” and straight ahead is a tribulation like nothing that has occurred before. (2 Tim. 3:1) Furthermore, Satan and his demons have been cast out of heaven and are confined to the vicinity of the earth, resulting in intense woe for earth’s inhabitants. (Rev. 12:9, 12) We have been commissioned to carry out a historic and unprecedented preaching campaign that is reaching peoples and language groups as never before! To keep receiving God’s blessing, we need to pay attention to all the directions provided through the Christian congregation. Having an obedient spirit now will help us to follow directions during the “great tribulation,” which will eliminate Satan’s entire evil system. Anew

Musicality of divine words
exhaling simple truths

graciously tendered as symphonies resplendent 
conveyed on intoxicating waves

of viable proof

enthralls those in humility drawn.
As Christ himself stated:

"No man
can come to me

unless
the Father, who sent me,
draws him"

since mankind's spirit of Satan spawns
an angry agitated black violent sea

of oblivious or indifferent
rebellious humanity

righteously hated

necessitating 

a loving just Creator's
total annihilation
of international arrogant airs

of which a vast majority of humans
tragically share.

Entrusted to meek receptive hearts 
absorbing melodic tunes of phrases

generously imparted

invoking ruminative
pensive musings

unabating till deeply
intensely rooted

bestowing seasons of growth

induced

feelings
of thankfulness
spontaneously proclaimed
after visions of beauty
awe us to exclaim:

“You are worthy,
Jehovah our God,

to receive the glory
and the honor
and the power,

because you created all things,

and because of your will
they came into existence and were created.”

He deserves
engenders our trust.

Displaying loyalty to him
in all things

a must

as joyously
we unitedly sing praises

while awaiting the finality
of wickedness' reign over everything.

But let us not forget:

"Jehovah is near
to all those calling on him,

To all who call on him in truth."
In Sincerity. In reverential fear.

So dear ones,

"Search for Jehovah
while he may be found.

Call to him while he is near."

This invitation extended for a mere
short time more around our globe.

It's ring to honest-hearted
even to those or ours dearly departed?

Crystal Clear.

For a call to all
in obedience

to adhere

whether alive
at this system's final end
or already

fallen asleep in death

God through Christ
will ensure lives of these

lovingly

Restarted.

The Almighty's Purpose:
Universal.

Anew.

Because,

"There are new heavens
and a new earth

that we are awaiting

according to his promise,

and in these

Righteousness Is To Dwell."

Psalm 145:18; Isaiah 55:6; 2 Peter  3:13; Revelation 4:11.

"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. One Lovely Truth

I'd trade a thousand lovely lies, for one painful truth
I shall not despise.

Cinderella wasn't a happily ever after.
Millions of divorces deride in tragic proof.

Swatting flies with our wedding certificate
symbolizing how a roaring flame dwindles,
if not even singly inflamed,
into embers dying growing steadily
insignificant. Like the feather
weighing more than all the love
you left me. Nearly broken.
Under a bleeding moon.

Then poof!

Flying to Death.
Leaving the Living behind

though, never ready, when it's saying goodbye...

Yet, there exists a heroism in
the silence of accepting the end

as one Can't save a falling star.

A third of the heavens ousted down
exemplify this terrifying truism

our earth now
their iniquitous
demonistic
lar.

That traveling light fleeing your sight?
If you can see it, its dead.

Dead still
when you gaze again

pretending that it'll never end.

Love
unfilled

leaves

dried out one's will to live
if not forgiving
oneself and others
freely

letting go.

Until,
fulfilled:

"Your dead will live.
My corpses will rise up.

Awake and shout joyfully,
You residents in the dust!

For your dew is as the dew of the morning,

And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."

So,

"Enjoy life with your beloved wife all the days of your futile life,
which He has given you under the sun,

all the days of your futility,

for that is your lot in life
and in your hard work at which you toil under the sun.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going."

Lets say hypothetically I don't have long to live.

Lets say ive got a few months at most.


Read through my poetry,
go back to the very beginning if you want or pick a poem from anywhere in between then and now. Write me a poem inspired by it, but dont copy it, obviously make it yours. Feel it. Make me feel it again.

I want a jaw dropping masterpiece before i'm gone, and so im adding all the points ive saved up over the last few months.  All at once.

- Poems must be powerful, I will disqualify half-hearted attempts. Give me something real.
- Rhyme or free verse, whichever. Abstract, acrostic, shape-form doesn't matter as long as Its good.

- I prefer rather long poems, but if they're short make sure they're poignant.
(So, at least 20 lines, and no limit to how many you can have.)

((I don't want poems telling me goodbye, or well wishes or any of that, I've come to terms with the hypothetical future. I want something that I can remember about allpoetry. This site has been a huge part of my life and this contest will be my goodbye. "Hypothetically".))

He Reigns!

Upon the Mount of Olives, Christ privately sat with four disciples when they of him asked: “What will be the sign of your presence and the conclusion of the system of things?” curiously putting him to prophetic task.

"For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be."

"Keep awake!" Christians advised to heed, for you see, His "Presence" denotes invisibility commencing with Jesus’ installation as King in 1914 cleansing the heavens of Satan and his wicked demons--His preliminary happifying thing.

Then down to the earth, "Woe!" WWI demonstrating the ride of the Four Horsemen had begun. Christ seated on His white horse as the Daystar He Arose, although a majority continues in wicked fun he them opposes until the “great tribulation,” begins. Then, the finality, all wicked immersed in their wickedness "saying to the mountains, ‘Fall over us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us over!’" since about to meet their tragic end.

So the question, "why do you stand here, looking into the sky?" with its angelic response indicates a spiritual readiness Jesus' disciples needed to urgently comply during "critical times" when His Reign over our earth invisible proceeded.

We Pray

A battle rages continuously
into these turbulent nights
for "unalienable rights"--

not to be transferred, nor sold
as our Creator benevolent, righteous, just,
each individual a vessel entrusted
to hold eternally: life, liberty, happiness.

So why this vile coldness taken hostage our world?

Why does blood sprinkle or gush, swirl
upon our land
as if hands or hearts pushed into metal fans whirling
to mankind cripple from extending brotherly help
to all successfully stand?

How does one exit this dense fog,
this black ink spilled as oil upon a verdant soil

expanding,

degenerate in its consummation wholly of man's integrity
once available in the highest courts of justice
upon sincere humane demand?

There exists a mental darkness
alienated from the life, the light that belongs to God

because of an ignorance that feeds one.

An insensitivity
that breeds in one's heart.

Evil feeds on ignorance.

As the apostle Paul reputed as a gentle, affectionate man expending himself unselfishly grand in his service of Christian brothers

once “breathing threat and murder”
against this very same band

once admitted:

"I was ignorant,”
although formerly he had “a zeal for God;

but not according to accurate knowledge.”

Today, many sincere people too
engage in atrocious acts
due to a lack of correct understanding

God’s will
wholeheartedly
to do.

Cautioned Christ's followers:

“The hour is coming when everyone that kills you
will imagine he has rendered a sacred service to God.

But they will do these things
because they have not come to know
either the Father or me.”

Liberties, property and/or lives stolen,
not even borrowed

from subjects loving, obedient in lands subjugated to abject violence to an accelerated degree.

Sure, persecutors many
profess servitude to God and Jesus; blessed.

Yet influenced by false religious beliefs plus traditions
they exercise injustices without requisite contrition.

However, returning evil for evil is not how Christians follow Jesus’ exhortation: “Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you."

We hope
pray for changes of heart,
as did Saul,

so that recognized
"inalienable rights" of many
will speedily push through.

Our Battle

Our battle

daily
intense

spiritual armor our best defense
as a bleakness worldwide
drains the soul.

Life eternal
heavenly or earthly
a Christian's goal.

Forward onward
oh his people armored up
though with no false steeple to control

hungry masses

angry crowds
as foaming waves
to distant shores thrashes.

Forward marching
straight ahead

through this majority
faithless

dead.

But, the Word of God
wielded as swords pierces deeply
reaching inwards

seeks God's love
undeserved, yet, mercifully expressed

as received

His benevolent
rewards.

So spiritual soldiers resist a world emboldened
leaving wicked marks. Striking his blows,

not against the wind

his relationship with his Creator
He staunchly defends.

Not with lip service does he pretend
to honor the Almighty, who will universally win
against wicked sons dishonored.

A righteous soldier
Christ Jesus, his loyal one

sponsors.

In imitation of this model
true believers of him follow

not to carry the literal sword in battle.

A neutral stand
will not their courage
rattle.

To love his fellow man
is not

considered shallow.

For a clean white garb
worn in justice and loyalty
by all obedient humanity beating
"Swords into plowshares"

will deem them worthy

to live in
"brotherly love and affection"
with fellow soldiers equally dressed

in love truly possessed

from now into eternity!

"Let the heavens rejoice!"
Then soon our earth will too

as the battle is not ours to fight.

Christ and His heavenly army
will loving justice
for us

pursue

with the Almighty's backing
and powerful might.

Symbolic Use. In defending his apostleship in his letter to the congregation at Corinth, Paul wrote: “Who is it that ever serves as a soldier at his own expense?” (1Co 9:7) Although Paul had not accepted material help from the Corinthians, he here argued that, as a soldier in the service of his Master Christ, he certainly had authority to do so. Paul also considered as soldiers of Christ those who worked in cooperation with him in the preaching of the good news, calling them ‘fellow soldiers.’—Php 2:25; Phm 2.
To Timothy, who was charged with a heavy responsibility by Paul, the apostle wrote: “As a fine soldier of Christ Jesus take your part in suffering evil. No man serving as a soldier involves himself in the commercial businesses of life, in order that he may gain the approval of the one who enrolled him as a soldier.” (2Ti 2:3, 4) A good soldier expects hardships, and he knows the need to be ready to serve at all times and to endure under the most trying conditions. As long as he is in a war he does not look for comfort and that which pleases him. His time and energy are at the command of his superior. Moreover, a soldier gives up business, farm, trade, or vocation in order to serve. He does not get involved in other things that would take his mind and energy away from the all-important fight in which he is engaged. Otherwise, it would likely cost him his life or it would cost the lives of those depending on him. According to historians, Roman soldiers were not allowed to engage in any trade and were forbidden to act as tutors or as curators to an estate so that they would not be diverted from their purpose as soldiers. Even under the Mosaic Law, the newly married man, or the man with a house he had not dedicated or a vineyard from which he had not received fruit, was exempt from military service. And a man who was fearful would certainly make a bad soldier and would break down the morale of his fellow soldiers; therefore such a man was exempt under the Law. (De 20:5-8) So Christians, both Jewish and Gentile, would readily get the force of Paul’s illustration.

A Most Gracious Host

'Beloved children'
gifts receive

none showing more benevolence
resplendence

than many of these:

Sunsets glorious
moonlit skies
butterflies flitting here to there
beautiful
colorful before our eyes

waterfalls refreshing
thundering from high
rivers crystal
tranquil our row
oceans too to sail...

no we cannot these despise

the lady bug
an ardent ant

a lion's roar
a rabbit's hop
a robin's chant

luscious peaches
dripping down one's chin

dolphins at play
chimpanzees' grin

tropical breezes
cleansing rains

majestic mountains
to ease stress' pain.

A tip of the glacier
this tiny list

authenticates

a Most Gracious Host
loving

does exist.

A Generation Into Eternity

"A generation is going,
and a generation is coming,

but the earth remains forever."

Forever,
as cycles of winters and springs?

Forever,
as rivers and gentle streams?

Forever,
the stars and glorious moon?

Or

Forever,
the people
with no space
or room?

Forever,
a person with food and a place.

Forever,
living with dignity. Grace.

Forever,
praising
the Creator
of the human race.

Forever,
an opportunity
to chose life and exist
as long as the sun

enjoying

lovely
the songs of the loon.

Forever,
the earth a welcoming home
beautiful

with love soon
to internationally bloom.

Forever and ever.
A chance to partake

since

Death
will no longer
destroy
and consume.

Freedom

Is your 'Freedom'
really 'free'

where 'no strings attached'
can't lasso back past actions

which can/do entangle
one's presently desired
carefree life

to an inability

physically or mentally
to cope

because a slip-knotted
conscienceless
strong
moral-less
rope

strangles all future hope

of healthy
peaceful
familial living?

Is this intelligent
unseen master of your 'liberty'

loving

or dark
relentless in his wicked pursuit

yet, thankless when given servitude?

Can he promise actual eternity?

Or does he invent lies
as he goes

controlling those who know not of a spiritual road leading to a mountain streaming international humbled souls

once beaten or threatened by his angry roaring fearsomely
to manipulate a blind stumbling humanity?

Goals

simply helps one slip through cords squeezing this major hoard into disharmony:

Envision a future in loyal gratitude
to One already providing goodness, graciousness,
kindness to mankind

despite ignorance or belligerent attitudes,

instead of rudeness, wickedness, treachery
confining to promised none existence

forever

not an 'immortality' of speculative mind.

Envision inhabiting this land cleansed of wickedness
supplied with a banquet of succulent plenty,

fruits, wines,
bread and cheeses
of a varied kind

learning to live in perfect harmony
with the universe

one another
brothers and sisters

mastering skills which seem deemed
only to a captivating few

whereas,
this world is composed of a talented
multitude

of a inspired
'many'

with ancient ones returned
or any and all

who survived God's Final War

educated
to spurn badness
love righteousness

infinitely.

This is true 'Freedom'
promised

rejected by the masses
as 'utopia'

fantasy
hopeless

while presenting as truth
a plethora of myths

derived
over time,

yet unproven
yes, baseless.

Freedom or free-will
grants us the ability to choose

now

before an door of prophesied opportunity
is locked

closed forevermore.

Before God's tolerance of ignorance, slander, hatred,
ends labeling it... Too Late

with a key to true knowledge
extracted

as classes already begun

have further entry
blocked.

And outside the 'interior rooms'

an anointed King and his 'just' army rides
to destroy

to eternally eliminate those promoting
ancient crippling

God-less
traditions or lore.
