Fallen

Fallen

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

Untimely
the falls
caused
to all,

normal like average
or peabody small

afraid or nervous
in company of tall

superpowered
strong, mean
hybrid bullies.

Nephilims called.

From men and angels
unnaturally birthed.

They pummeled or killed
incited by anger from within
or mere pleasure.

Not valued your worth.

No stop to their pursuits
or determined will
backed up by pure evil
and muscled girth.

Cowered and fearful
in anxiety many'd flee
the trampling promised.

When would they be free
to carry on peaceful
with work without strife?

Unfortunately never,

since humans did not choose
to find divine protection.

In floods they did lose
their precious life.

Lives
of friends
families too

right along with the 'Fellers'--
the abusers and the abused

since cowardly
and frightened
to utterly refuse

to face off the giants.

Enter the ark

courageous and thankful
for Salvation the Creator imparts

with sincere Love for humanity
He cherishes. It never to depart.

Fully prepared
a well-stocked boat
the earth then to cruise.

Bobble with no moats.

But sadly, only eight survived.
No more any
to harass or gloat.

To the majority
peer pressure or outright obstinacy
proved more potent

than desire
to stand out as different.

Make plans. Do aspire
to enter a door

composed of faith
in the invisible One,
who hires

as Noah to proclaim

His Kingship and Sovereignty.

Death to the coward and/or wicked,
though opportunity existed

many actually did
swallow their pride.

As the vessel floated
capably fashioned,
though regrettably

not totally

Used,
although offered--a ride

as fear and lack of love
combined
produces a catalyst

Satan concocts
to bind and confuse
those not focused whole souled

in heart, soul and mind.

Seeking the "Truth' not to misuse.

A Healing Promised

A Healing Promised

by Seah Greenhorn
(poem with copyright)

Wounds

wickedly delivered
intentionally or otherwise
bleed/bled

Blaze

as fiery tears;
tear in shreds united hearts;

roll us in mire
wishing to expire

till extended
a hand, arm, shoulder.

To sit:

a solid boulder
to support us
as soft words curve over us

silken cloth
sweet

gently enfolds us;
encourages us.

Lifts us to unsteady feet.

But fresh air swirls around us;
soothes our boiled skin,

as nature, friends, time
binds our injuries
slowly from within.

Yet, hope heals us faster
as a ship with rising sails.

Glides us pass
the heat
in which tragedies assails.

Buoys us forward
towards a horizon ascending soon.

Our emotions lifting.
Set free.
Like helium in colorful balloons.

Not to pop. Not to stop.
To keep ascending

our eyes to bright stars
galaxies and faithful moons

given
for us to enjoy.

Our thoughts upward.
We pray; implore.

Prophecies foretold,
as a mother, strokes
our tired weary bruised souls.

Promises to mend
end sorrow,

sickness, death.

These written
like buried treasures unearthed
we cherish and cry:

"Come quickly! Do not to delay!"

Families desire this to behold.
Since, now what's needed
is power

beyond what's normal

till this darkest hour
that's descended
the Light
wars against;

defends

all those groaning.
Those in pain:

Just wait!

The Future

Glorious
will bring

Peace

causing an end
to all pain.

The Kingdom
Is the Cure

to Heal Humanity
of Satan's cruelty.

Wipe your eyes.

For
Not Fantasy

But

The Real Life
Is About to Begin.

I'd Rue the Day

I'd Rue the Day

by Seah Greenhorn
(poem with copyright)

Wearing not a crown or royalty,
not a ruler of government be,
yet, my future would still prove bleak

If I didn't choose
His Sovereignty.

I'd Rue the Day

when prophecy
foretold this future
for humanity:

"In the days of those kings
the God of heaven
will set up a kingdom

that will never
be destroyed."

This government
righteousness employs.

"This kingdom will not
be passed on..."

This fact alone
causes hatred.

Causes scorn
since kings and queens
wear crowns to adorn

their heads
in rulership
elected
or born.

"It"
God's Kingdom
"will crush"

"put an end
to all these kingdoms"
competing against His
today.

"And it Alone
Will Stand
Forever."

Yes.
God's Government
Will Forever Stay.

If I choose not
to Kiss the Son--
The Christ

The Creator's
appointed King

Sing his praises
My life in harmony bring

I will Forever

Rue the Day.

For Eternal Life
on Earth or Heaven
would end in eternal death.

No Precious Life
to enjoy
joy and peace.

No more breath
for continued daily living
in opposition

Given.

A Time for Silence

A Time for Silence

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

Neglect
not
a pause

Moments in mind
amid turmoil

Dissents

outside your core.

A Breeze of Reflection

Sweetly

eases the soreness
of twisting/
turning

Dampening
spreads
of

Nights sweats

Induced by
frightful dragons of dread
wearing scales of hunger

tearing with teeth

grinding
precious tin,
cedar or metal
from imperative
overhead.

Stealing your calm.

Breaking your peace
into tiny particles like chaff
circling back

a whirlwind
causing you blind.

Winding and winding
in an imaginary maze
decimating golden time.

Stay

moments in sought silence

to reflect
redefine

in stillness.

In
Quiet.

Upon beauty of sight and sound
from memory
or present surrounds.

But mainly upon

Wisdom
Divine

Releasing

thunderous quakes
into
bearable shakes

or

Lightening
Souls

for future
familial bonding acts of
Love

Pure

to gracefully unfold
with petals soft and lovely.

Bouquets.
Cherished.

For Others to Imitate.
Appreciate.

Behold.

Ikebana

Ikebana

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

It speaks.

I listen.

A delicious breeze to pacify
my flaming anguish inner
I held to heart.

It scorched
as I swallowed it whole.

My tragedy I turned to art.

A twig.
A branch contorted.
Blades of grass twisted

I ordered.
A leaf.
A rose.

No vase to hold.

Now I recline.
My floral designed
to reach

inside

my once
frazzled mind.

You see:
Beauty soothes a battered soul.

Let Me Lay

Let Me Lay

by Seah Greenhorn ... poem with copyright

Once dignified and regal
yet in knees buckled beneath
in this moment...

Relief.

Let me lay

My head resting
on enemy soil I once trusted
to gallantly convey me forward
must stay--for just a moment. Please.

Your kneeling presence--
Perhaps in prayer
a soothing comfort,
a sympathetic share.

Though my tired eyes I close
they do thank you.

My beloved guard
your stance to me a pronouncement:

You're not dead. Not by far. By the time
this glorious sun has totally risen
your beautiful hind will have resumed
your elegant position.

In your belief I will again
proudly gallop
by your majestic side.

Grateful I am for the love
of loyal family and friends.

I'll cherish these to a future end.

Nisan 14 . . . What Does It Mean?

Nisan 14 . . . What Does It Mean?

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

Nisan 14.

Tonight,
the most important date
in international history.

Commanded: "Keep doing this inremembrance of me." Our Deliverer: Christ Jesus made the statement

before finally nailed to a tree.

The Passover to Israel
kept Egyptian bondage in mind.

But more so their deliverance
of the Divine kind.

Ten plagues,

the foremost

the death of first-borns
when lamb's blood
was not posted

on portals in faith
and exercise of love.

Then 15 centuries later,
instituted a new celebration:

A Special meal
with 11 disciples
faithful to do God's will.

Memorialized: Christ's Death
to be exerienced at day's end,

after the sun set
they passed unleavened bread
and took a sip of wine

after offering thanks to His Father
for such Loyal and True Friends.

The unleavened bread represented his sinless body

Sacrificed in love.

The wine: his 'blood of the covenant'
poured out at Golgotha
in behalf of the obedient many
"for forgiveness of sins"

and then after 40 days
presented to his Creator, our Maker
in the heavens above.

{Just what does this date mean to you and me?

Does it matter that Christ's Death liberates us from the scourge of sin and death
allowing us a chance at Eternity?

Was pierced for us insignicant?
A mere trivial thing?

Or

Two of the Most Unselfish Acts
of Utmost Love unduplicated
by any means?

Yes,

Living Forever in Paradise
for the Many will be
the happiest of occasions

with receiving back loved ones deceased and abundant peace
without poverty, food shortages, sickness, death and disease.

This is what the Creator and his Son the 'master-worker' had originally designed for perfect humanity.

So,

the first full moon
after the beginning of Spring
lands this year tonight,

March 23, 2016.

What joy for many this evening to convene

with like-minded appreciative ones
thankful for Christ's offering.

We hope to see there...You are invited!

Gratitude: Do Bring.

Perfect Love

Perfect Love
by Seah Greenhorn
(poem with copyright)

Perfect
like Adam

to balance the scale

RANSOM

Adams's children
destined to Eternal hell-

Mankind's Common Grave
which imprisoned Jesus too

but, God thus him did save
after confined
a solid three days.

A Life for Life:

This Our Creator
Required for Justice:

A Corresponding Sacrifice
only acceptable

Necessarily... Due.

What man on earth could qualify?

(Though, many with generous hearts
might benevolently volunteer to do their part.)

Perfection was lost.
Perfection was needed

to Guarantee a Promised New Start.

"Fill the earth."
For this Adam was designed.

"Have in subjection" the animals
he was also assigned.

A Paradise with perfect offspring
and Eternity embedded in their minds.

The Ultimate in Gifts.
Nothing lacking.

Except
Gratitude

to the Creator
Divine.

So, Christ came,

although a Master Worker
beside his Heavenly Father
"the firstborn" of all creation
the one of which was spoken:

"Let us make man in our image,
according to our likeness"--

Not a random 'token.'

Gave up an opportunity
to produce offspring perfect,
true,

through sacrificing his perfect body, then returning to the heavens
presenting his offering to

his Father, who
then in Happiness and Love
promised him a kingship--

Over Earth to Rule!

1,000 years to gather all things back together--the heavens and the earth.

Restoring Unity and Perfection:

The reason Mary was chosen as surrogate mother to Christ's birth.

Now, a King in Royal Splendor
riding forth for Justice

to us...Long Overdue.

A Father and His Son
Demonstrated:

What Perfect Love is Willing to Do.

Training....

Training, counsel, discipline.

Words that many hate. But why? Do not Olympic athletes need training  and practice?

Do not students need teachers to correct so that they (students) can perfect their arts or courses?

Perfection is actually not always required; our best is. So today's thought is:

"Happy is the man whom you correct, O Jah, (Jehovah) Whom you teach from your law, to give him tranquility during days of calamity, until a pit is dug for the wicked." Ps. 94:12, 13.

Love these words!

Comforting, right?

Picture This

Let all malicious bitterness and anger and wrath and screaming and abusive speech be taken away from you.—Eph. 4:31.

Consider the example of Jesus. Imagine the immense stress that he was feeling at the last evening meal he had with his apostles. Jesus knew that within hours he would die a slow and painful death. The sanctification of his Father’s name and the salvation of the human family depended on his faithfulness.
Yet, at that very meal, there “arose a heated dispute among [the apostles] over which one of them seemed to be greatest.”
Did Jesus scream at them or express bitterness toward them?
No...Instead, he calmly reasoned with them. Jesus reminded them that they had stuck with him during trying times. Although Satan was demanding to sift them as wheat, Jesus expressed confidence that they would prove faithful. He even concluded a covenant with them.—Luke 22:24-32.
