Burnt Out

BURNT OUT

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

When

my anger
(insighted)

becomes a flame

and

my compassion
(manipulated)

begins to wane

When I
Burn out

on their

Disrespect

It is at this time

That I
Should

STOP and Again

REFLECT:

If

The Almighty--

Degrees
Infinitely

GREATER
than
me

WAS and IS

Hated
and
Ignored

Daily,

Continually

Blantantly
Disregarded,

Slandered

or

Distrusted,

Who am I--

His mere human

Servant

To burn out?

I must

Muster
up

More

Love.

Imitate
Him,

thus

NAVIGATE

to however

Tolerate

UNTIL

Only He Says:

"Okay...

NOW

It's Too Late!"

Based on: Ezekiel 8:17, 18; 9:10, 36:20-23; 2 Chron. 36:16; Joel 2:12-14; Heb. 10:26-31.
